Yap, Micronesia Introduces Manta Ray Sanctuary

Yap Gov. Sebastian Anefal announced at a U.S. Coral Reef Task Force meeting on the Big Island that the waters around his state have been designated as a protected area for manta rays. Clownfish Smell Their Way Home

Ever wondered how the bright orange little clownfish "Nemo" finds it way home? Well according to latest research from scientists, they actually smell their way home by sniffing for leaves that have fallen in to the sea from the nearby rainforests which grow on the islands near their coral homes. After hatching the little fish usually spends ten to twelve days in the open sea, but they usually return to the coral reefs where they were born, but just how they do this has always been a mystery...
